As far as the difference between the German and NY stock market prices, there is a whole sub-species of traders who make a living working the difference, and this keeps the prices level.
I have accumulated a big chunk of this stock over the last three months, after discovering it in the book "Gorilla Game". I bought it for long term, but I will be surprised if we don't see a major jump in August. Everyone on this board knows just how hard it is to follow this company now. With a NYSE listing, it will get financial coverage closer to the same level as Microsoft, the brokers will get on it, and momentum will push it. All of the Mutual Fund Managers are dying for a new "Tech" they can buy, but they won't buy it unless they can cover their butts by having a NYSE listing and press coverage that tells their investors what it is. The fact that it has tripled in the last year, and has a PE that sets our teeth on edge, is the downside. You can all get quite a bit of info on SAP and competitors on Mike Buckley's board on Motley Fool, Titled "The Gorilla Game" at "AOL//5863:126/Mb292933"
