More Bateh Lies:

"USB ZIP is out"

Wrong.
biz.yahoo.com
The new USB Zip(R) drive is expected to be available at retail, distribution and catalog partners in the late Q4 timeframe.

Late Q4 means next year sometime. Meanwhile, the USB LS-120 Superdisc will have been out for months.
------
"Just ask yourself if today the position of iom is not 1000% better than it was 5 months ago....i am not talking about losses, cash flow,..."

Oh yeah, just put those LITTLE THINGS like EARNINGS aside. 5 months ago, Iomega was warning of small losses to breakeven for Q2 and Q3 with a return to profit in Q4. Now, Iomega investors are looking at double digit losses for Q2, similar losses for Q3, and a serious risk of no profit again in Q4, resulting in a huge loss for the entire year.
------
"sparq stopped in france with more to follow"

In fact, SparQ is allowed to continue selling for another month in France with no penalty to Syquest. During this time, it is possible that this ruling may be overturned.

-------
"hifd mangaer is with iom(and still no product)"

This sentence is true bty itself, but seen as a "1000% improvement" is ridiculous. Managers jump ship all the time for various reasons, mainly for more money. Iomega managers have jumped ship to other companies this past year for this same reason. Not a big deal.
------
"increased disk sales ..."

In fact, Iomega has lamented the declining tie ratios due to OEM penetration. Not only that, but based on the numbers Bateh posted from Ingram a couple of weeks ago, I calculated and posted the results that Iomega was realizing very troubling disk sales.
-----
Bateh's continual pumping of this stock will not go unchallenged.

>>>.Just ask yourself if today the position of iom is not 1000% better than it was 5 months ago...<<<

S. Bateh...

Comments like the above make me question your credibility... I say this because 5 months ago when IOMEGA (according to you) was 1000% worse off than it is today you were just as rah rah as you've always been ... It tells me that in your mind IOMEGA can make 1000% swings and the stock is still the best thing since sliced bread...???

Recipe for IOM Success....

I have been a Zip and Jazz user for over two years and love the products. In fact, I just installed a VST Zip in my IBM Thinkpad notebook this week...and it is terrific...and very fast!

I have also been a serious IOM investor off and on...since 1995. However, I won't touch this stock until the following occurs:

1. Microsoft and other software vendors start offering new software
on Zip disks as alternatives to CD-ROM's and 3.5" floppies.

2. The computer makers offer Zip drives "inside" the box...and 3.5"
drives "outside" the box! (or both inside)

Let's face it...IOM management has missed the boat on where the market is for Zip disks...it's the software vendors...not the consumer!

Sure...consumers will use Zip disks...I have used about 10 in the last 3 years...but have used alot more Gillette razor blades...since they "wear out"! ...BUT... software "wears out" too...it's called Windows 3.1...then Windows 95...then Windows 98, etc, etc...for EVERY software vendor in the world! This adds up to millions of disks...none of which are Zips! Go figure out that "Tie Ratio"!!!

So...Iomega...are looking for a new CEO...with vision ...and alot more ideas???...I have a bunch...just make me an offer!

Or..ask me what I told Netscape 2 years ago...and they didn't listen...now they are scrambling to do what I told them!

Doesn't anybody ask the users what they want? Oh...well!
