Timing of Biotechs is always difficult. This weekend a Philadelphia paper ran a story on CYTO. The article generated some buyers and the caused the price and volume to explode. There was no real news, but the price more than doubled in a few days.

VVUS is another example of price and volume explosions on no news. Paine Weber upgraded from NEUTRAL to BUY and the price almost double in a couple of days.

I do expect new coverage for LGND, which could produce a significant price rise (but I don't expect a short term double on the news).
