that post right there is from a 1+ yrs of trading experience. believe me, i tried all sorts of tricks <g> i think everyone has a "experiement" phase. trying new entry techniques, exits, bottom fish plays or break out plays, etc. only after getting clobbered/success, you finally get an idea what works for you. that also applies to studying TA. you have 100's of indicators.. ALL are good.. but you have to pick 2-5 of them and fit them to your system. and then finally, learning the "pitfalls/advantages" of your system (inside n' out).
