Father E,

It could be a matter of the "greater fool" theory coming in along
with an expected bounce. Even if you don't think AMZN should be
above 40, you could still buy here thinking others will be buying
and driving it up a few points for about an hour. Personally, I'm
just holding my short shares for now.

It could be shorts (like me) taking a bit of $$ off the table, and probably a bit of day-trading action too. There's no way the funds are buying, or will buy, for at least a month or so--regardless of price.
