If the huge inflow of what I'll call "blind" dollars (401-k contributions) into large cap mutual funds like Vangaurd and Fidility's "Growth and Income" funds, which are just a proxy for the S&P 500, isn't responsible for this insane opening summer runnup I don't know what is. If we EVER see a solidly down day on the NASDAQ we'll see some SHARP corrections particularly in techs. At times it seems that the momentum players rule the markets with impunity, at least in the short term. p.s. I want to send out a big Thank You to SI for the free logon since I've been lurking for months but too cheap to pay their toll. Kinda silly given what I throw away on option costs ;-)
