How feels it to be in the land of the slow access folks.... ? ? ?? Life on SI is more peaceful with you on the laptop .... ggggg hurry on back --- It's lonely without your lively presence ........ With you on the laptop, it's similar to having my wife with a sore throat ---- hate it for her, but it's surely more restful for me ....... gggg In the Dallas News this morning there was a story which put me in mind of you, what with you at the lake....... Marilyn and I spent 20 + years at Greers Ferry Lake in N Ark on the July4th holiday, until a few years ago. The gentleman who owns the marina very close to the cabin of our friends where we stayed nearly was killed shortly before the holiday. He fell into the water and his clothing became tangled in the prop of the boat he was moving. The couple who acted alertly and cut him loose were customers at the marina. He is , as well as his wife, numbered among the very pleasant people of the world, and I'm glad he only had multi stiches instead of being killed. Next time I'm there, I'll have to give him a hard time about getting old and clumsy..... gggg The fireworks display on the lake used to be quite something and was the highlight of our many trips there. The boats on the water which came to view it had to number in the thousands ...... Hope you're having a good time and becoming calm and collected.... peacefully laid back .... yeah ---- I bet ......
