I think you are in an "either/or" situation. You can't have two different sell orders in for the same shares.

If the stop loss activated first, the limit sell order would turn into a limit shortsell order, since you wouldn't be holding any shares at that point.

Putting in both limit and stop loss orders came up on another thread recently.
