It's over. Support for federal legislation making it a felony not to secure guns --- must be locked up from children. This is locked up away from children, NOT safety locks. He did mention safety locks saying that a majority of manufacturers support them and he hopes that the remaining manufacturers will join in their support of safety locks. All in all, I was NOT impressed with his committment to safety locks and it seems obvious that he does NOT intend to push legislation concerning safety locks. All in my personal observations only.
