This should not be the case! TDFX should have solicited feedback from OEMs in the design phase, and hence, OEMs should already be familiar with it. The lack of OEM design wins at this time is quite disconcerting if one assumes that major OEMs should have been involved in some sort of design review process.

While one can argue the technical merits of supporting 2X AGP, I think that it is a marketing requirement. If TDFX had indeed solicited OEM feedback, I'm sure that Banshee would support this feature today.
