TD,

THe only shorters who make money on YHOO! and AMZN are those who shorted at or close to peak. If YHOO! reports great results tonight, I expect those two issues to continue smooth march toward new highs, with even more frenzied speed. However, both down and up on these issues have become increasingly ugly.

BTW, AMZN is about to turn black and YHOO! about to march above 200.

good luck,
larry!

But w/ the current drop I think bulls think twice in longing amzn.

Not so sure. Some of the most vocal bulls, those who tend toward hahas, exclamation points and speaking of themselves in the third person, have jumped back into AMZN and YHOO based on the expectation of YHOO reporting "blowout" results and a split. I guess the split is pretty much assured, but with "whispers" of 12 cents, what will it really take to sustain this?

Here's to a grim <g> report.
