Todd, This thread is littered with posts about this sector being dead money for a while longer. You may get small spikes, trading spikes (like last weeks Iraq missle thing, or today's Nigerian situation) however, look at the lines of any of these stocks and they say DOWN. Most of us are NOT gloomy people, so oil has made us that way. If your looking for LT investments, you might have a good entry point now, as most of us feel there's more upside potential than downside risk. That being said, OIL is NOT the place for fast consistent trading money. Unless the NUKES, Chemicals, or biologicals start falling, that is.
