I have conceded that the BATF (and the FBI) screwed things up. It is possible that the FBI also attempted a cover up. Now, who roots out what really happened? It's the media. Check out the coverage by the Dallas News. Interesting to see that The Rules of Engagement broadcast rights have been acquired by the BBC. Are there any plans for broadcast in the US? OT I've always felt that the major media organs here in the US are sub-par when compared to foreign news outlets. Personally, if I really want to know what is going on here or abroad, I tune into the BBC world service, or read one of the major British broadsheets (e.g. The Times, The Independent etc). CNN is the only American media outlet that comes close. w.

Waco was bad. Personally I think Ruby Ridge was worse and the fact that the guy who shot Vicky got off is an example of the federal government at its worst. IMO that was a murder. Someone at the federal level is responsible and I don't want to see an administrative action taken for murder. I want jail time. Waco was so full of illegalities from the govm't to flat out poor planning that it should be used as a training film on what not to do. The search warrant was expired. That alone should've ended the seige. I don't want to rehash but the BATF should be reigned in or abolished. CIA & FBI are OK and needed but the BATF is out of control and untouchable. Turboe you started this thread. You realize that it could be and probably is monitored by aforementioned parties? Paranoid? maybe but I doubt it.
