Van Hooidink was fouled. Other than that I thought the game was well officiated. Dutch should have won. UAE ref did the right thing to let the game go and not call many fouls, but a penalty shot should have been awarded for that foul in the last minutes. I have now lost interest in the WC, Brazil will win it all now. tombet

Actually, his exact word was "loser." All right you have a point, but do not make a big deal out of it, as: 1. Is not as bad as other SI name calling I have seen. 2. Come on get hold of yourself, the bottom line is that Brazil won, end of story. All those considerations that should have's, could have's etc. are meaningless, they had 120 minutes plus penalties to obtain a clear victory over the Brazilians, so did the Brazilians, and the games are won by goals, not near goals, or maybe penalties, etc. , points are not even awarded or deducted from such, it is goals, in the net. You can see the referees as another hazard to overcome, ( I certainly do), as the referees are known to be a cross between illiterate bureaucrats, blind policemen, and fascist pigs, so the only weapon you have is score more goals than the opponent, the rest is noise... For example: 1. What if the Penalty would have been called, what tells you that the Dutch would have put the ball in the net in the penalty ? They certainly showed quite incapable in the actual PK! 2. What if they had not? Had their mental condition would have deteriorated ? 3. Ronaldo was fouled inside the box as well. Another Penalty. 4. Kluivert could have scored in at least two other occasions, if not more. Why didn't he ? was he a spy, or a member of the South American-FIFA conspiracy ? 5. If so, may be Brazil would have reacted differently and attacked more..... So.... Once again, I know it is tough to lose but life goes on and there will be other World Cups, the past is only history, and there is nothing you, I, or anybody can do about it. Now, after watching this Croatia team, let me tell you this, if Holland does not "pull the socks up" as one Klaus individual says, the Croats will eat Holland alive and send them home with a 4th. place as opposed to third. So get over it, we shall see in the next 4 years, may be the Dutch will come back roaring and win it all. Z. p.s. get drunk and have fun, it is only a game...
