More on Japanese creative accounting methods. From Techweb today:

Well, there goes $2BB of the Japanese taxpayers' money. I wonder when these people are going to figure things out and start demanding REAL reform, i.e. overthrow of the current regime and creation of a system of gov't with some sort of accountability to the public. Really, it's starting to look like a much more sophisticated version of Mexico. This nonsense goes on everywhere, of course, but at least here we can do something about it sometimes.
