#$%^&* VNTV. I would be up today if it wasn't for this dog. I'm out on the first bounce. Sorry about that, I needed to vent.

Dave, I respect your opinions on this, but a few points re VNTV and dead cats:

VNTV has enjoyed strong respect and credibility for a while, therefore winning it back may not take as long. I've worked at companies in a similar situation, and they have projected 6-8 qtrs to regain credibility, but in reality 2-4 can be enough as long as you don't break your word again.

Re dead cats, depends on when you look at them. They underperform the market as buy-and-hold candidates. But they also tend to have lots of peaks and valleys along the way. I think the takeover speculation is more important conceptually. I.E. my view is that VNTV will be takeover bait for the next 9 months. Someone may emerge as a suitor. Rumours will definitely persist. There *will* be at least 1-2 occasions during that time when the stock spikes unexpectedly, and a trader who bought in the low teens or below, can sell in the mid-high teens.

Will a takeover actually happen? No. Probably not.
