I've been following alot of earnings plays lately and it seems that companies that fall in line with estimates don't move up or get flattened because the short term earnings traders get out because they don't see a 1+ bounce.

Com'on now. Are we really a momentum stock? Maybe I am used to YHOO, AMZN, etc. Now that's a momentum segment/stock.

I prefer steady growth. I think that's what we're seeing.

$53/share in 12 months. Nice target. Nice return.

DLJ analyst reports the analyst meeting yesterday was extremely bullish and attended by over 250 people. Wow!!! He compared Qwest to being the next WCOM and the shares will be appreciate significantly. He has a Buy rating with a $45 short term target. Revenue expectations are too low he says and that the merger integration will happen quickly. Qwest also has sued the FCC and the court has asekd the FCC to justify its opinion Monday.
Any positive movement here will make the shares move up. The bottom line he says is the bandwith is squeezing and customers retail and wholesalers want to get into Qwest network. Sounds very bullish. Look for more positive reaction from attendees today.
