Netnut- Not sure what you read on here back then, seemed the big confusion around May 29 was whether you had to have bought the P's on tuesday the 26th or you had to the 5/29 Share holders of Record date. Now because its a split and not a dividend, the mass confusion is whether you had to hold the shares on or before 5/29/98 or yesterday 7/7/98 which is the EX-DATE. Someone did post earlier he got the split shares and he bought a few days after the 5/29 date. The brokers I talked to say they go by the EX-DATE. Others have called brokers and NAZ (NASD) and got different stories. Its almost like a stock never split before...you would think the pros would be able to say exactly what is going to happen... Just hang in there, we will know for sure in a few days.... Rob D.
