Just 3 points/questions ... not asking anyone ... only pondering aloud:

1) What prevents Softbank to make a quick decent profit and sell?
(... will be known to public after 3-6 weeks)
2) How much/long a sideways movement in price should be observed on Thu/Fri, before deciding that profit taking will ensue?
3) If portals' business becomes so lucrative (at least their stocks), what prevents the 800 pound gorilla (-aka- msft) to turn its neck at this and declare its intention to enter this area (-aka- extend hotmail servers w/ compaq/digital's fast, SMP servers?) ... Microsoft has the fastest programmers on the planet. Most portal's dip 50% on announcement?

For some technically oriented: Looks like all the organization of life's needed keywords on an information portal site, can be mimicked in about say 200-400K lines of perl, 200K lines of Java, and 100K lines of javascript/html source code. How long will it take a competitor to extend/create an identical sites package and distribute it globally?

cheers to all,
-/Sonny.
