Optimism is not bad in itself. However, blind loyalty is a road to disaster. Such has been the case with IOM. Your wish for a Zip 250 is just that- pure speculation. No word from Iomega has been said about a 250MB Zip, or about one being compatible with Zip100, or about any release date for a Zip250.

The USB Zip news release today indicates that the unit will be the regular old, clicking Zip100 variety. Iomega obviously got caught behind the development curve on this one, as Imation is to release the USB LS-120 months ahead of a USB Zip. Plus, the USB LS-120 is compatible with Standard floppies (a critical feature) - something no Zip can do. Iomega has painted itself into a proprietary corner on this one.

Good luck on your IOM investment. But don't let blind optimism and loyalist speculations lead you down the road to financial ruin. IOM has done that to a lot of people here.
