To all: Any comments on whether stocks in the semi-equipment group have seen there lows yet. By the look of their price performances for the last year, you would think that there was blood in the streets. Yet it seems that virtually every analyst and guest host is recommending purchase of this group. Do you think they (the analyst) will be right this time? Or are they early and the blood is still to come? Are we still in that phase where everyone says "they can't possibly go any lower", but eventually they do?

Is there anyway to measure the true sentiment towards the semi-equipment group?

Best Regards.

Re: "While I am net long equities at approximately 65%, at the moment, and with valuations this high and due to the fact I have a great many profits I wish to keep, (if all goes according to plan), I had to take some more profits this afternoon."

An asset allocation of 65% at this point in the cycle is good for those not in retirement, in my opinion. Of course, I haven't received my Marketimer yet this month, so all bets are off if Bob issues his sell signal. (I'm always the last to get it in this small midwestern city.)

Speaking of the Marketimer, I'm about ready to pass out from anxiousness waiting for the emerging markets recommendation.

Best wishes,

I2

Mr. Greenjeans,

what has happened to your VOD ? Wonder when this will be considered a buying opportunity, I sure hope Bob talks a bit about it this weekend.
