I think we need Asia to come back as a demand driver before we can talk about supply/demand balance. I have no idea when that will be. At least one year, maybe a couple. Usually, the upturns pop up when noone is expecting them though. As far as 0.18 and 300mm, 300mm has been pushed out a few years and Intel won't implement 300mm til the 0.13 generation, so it's a safe bet few will do it before them. 0.18 processes will begin showing up next year for ALL the major semi firms. When one moves, its competitors in whatever sector will have to follow, or be left behind. Bob
