Lee,

The FED is trying to walk on a thin wire here: I agree that employment costs and employment rates are a matter of concern here but REAL wages in the u.s. economy are still behind the curve. They need to catch up. If the FED tightens before there is evidence of an upward spiral in inflation it will not sit well with the american public and congress. The average joe has not participated in the "boom" times and congress is aware of that.
