Looks like only 86 through June 15th. 6/5: Hanifen Research report 12/31/97 Tava had Y2K commitments for 90 plants 3/31/98 Tava had Y2K commitments for 340 plants 6/5/98 Tava had Y2K commitments for 1,740 plants ...we remain comfortable that TAVA can generate revenue per plant site of at least $20,000 for Y2K tools and $20,000-$60,000 for Y2K services. My comments: This would average $20K for tools and $40K/site services This is on the low end imo. The latest pharmaceutical company I&A estimate is for $115K/site. I suspect (pharmaceutical) control systems are above average in terms of Embedded Controlled machinery (volume and complexity). Don't forget the X 8 factor for full scale remediation. Just my opinion. 6/17: Scott Liolos I/R First, many have asked for the total TAVA head count. At the end of March, TAVA had 387 employees (263 technical). At the end of April, they had 397 (272 Technical). At the end of May, the company had 440 (306 Technical). And from 6/1/98 to 6/15/98 TAVA hired an additional 33 people to bring the total head count to 473 people. As you can see, they are well on there way to reaching head count goals. 6/24: TAVA Technologies Selected as Y2K Services Vendor by the County of Los Angeles 6/25: However, management sees no reason why that level of bookings will not continue or even increase. My comment: From Scott Liolos in response (my Email) to May, Y2K bookings of $12.5M. Bet on it increasing. 7/7: TAVA Technologies Awarded Contracts From Polaroid And Major Pharmaceutical Company The Polaroid contract covers 11 facilities around the world. The contract with the pharmaceutical company covers 26 plants with national and international locations and has an estimated value of more than $3,000,000 through the inventory and assessment stage only.
