Re: inet.

It maybe a sell on news senario. We'll see.

I'm not negative on the internet, but these stocks have had an incredible run.

IMHO everybody and their brother KNEW YHOO was going to beat est. and KNEW there would be a split. Therefore all or most of the good news has already been priced in the stock. There may some additional upside but soon all the momentum guys pumping up these stocks will ask themselves, "well now that all the internet stocks have run up and split and all the good news is out, what will take these stocks higher?" IMHO the answer is pure momentum based on the greater fool theory. When this dries up it's lights out for the internet stocks for a while, until they consolidate their gains at lower levels.
Right now the smart $$ is taking profits (they bought the rumor, now they're selling the news)in these stocks and putting that $$ back to work in the previous tech leaders (DELL,MSFT,LU,CSCO, and hopefully INTC and yes even CPQ and HWP). Why the last two? Because if these two can get their inventory problems under control enough to stop giving away PC's in order to clear the channel, this would be a positive for the entire group including our beloved DELL.

Lee
