I do tend to diversify more when the market is shaky like it was a month ago. I sometimes carry longs and shorts at the same time. When a stock looks to break out like DELL is poised to do, and it's a liquid large cap, I place a big bet and then keep a pretty close eye on it. My trading style is unconventional and hence my returns are far from conventional as well.
