Microsoft's entry into the portal market is a major threat to ompanies such as YHOO and XCIT since Bill can basically make www.start.com the beginning home page for all Internet Explorer installations. Would be interesting to see if the portals bring Justice on top of MSFT for hogging up web traffic and viewers. Same goes for NSCP but they're doing the Netcenter thing already on all of their browser installations.

They might have been the first, but now Netscape wants a piece. If that
doesn't do it for you, then wait for www.start.com. I think you will see the
Yahoo page impression numbers fall. <<

To early for me to say it would be pure speculation on my part. I will say there are no clear winners yet, but Yhoo has the largest audience and has much more growth ahead. Netscape might pull away from being labeled as a loosing software co. to an internet co. I like what they're doing now, however maybe late, but we shall see. Nscp is now competing with to leaders Msft and Yhoo, that's a big task for any size co. to take on. IMHO
