I don't know about easy, just make sure you keep the wheels below you and the wings level, there are very few mulligans in flying. <gg>

They have air shows here several times a year because of the good weather, so when you learn a few tricks, maybe I'll see you performing locally. :)

About hour 10 for most student pilots. Landing is the toughest phase to get the basics down on, but you'll be soloing some time about hour 15-20. Just don't let too many days lag between instruction flights. Spaced repetition is the name of the game here.
