I believe the key is for anyone to be able to use their existing cell phone (providing it can use cards) and ATM/smartcard. BETT and ET&T should remain transparent regardless the hardware being out there. As such, BETT does not need a contract with Newcom.

Also, BETT should be selling their system to bookies or gamers. One client with many users if you please. Deployment of terminals could be borne by the gamer with BETT collecting a fee for maintenance, etc.

On another note. If BETT collects $6.00/ transaction, then how am I going to place a 2.00 bet on my favorite whatever?

Actually, I see one odds maker wanting to dominate the entire system as being the most practical solution.

They speak of taxes, are they talking about 1099s or what? And if this is the case, they are going to need someone like EDS to do the back office.

Who are some of the gamers BETT is developing this for? And why aren't they investing.
