Ha!! I wasn't even aware there had been any discussion of any shared bandwith issues as it relates to xDSL.

Of course, as I think about it now, I guess that's always been the case, just like with the power lines. FPL, as you know, has to buy electricity from power companies in Georgia to keep up with all the a/c in sweltering Florida. And who hasn't seen their water come trickling out of the faucets and showers at peak times, like morning dressing and dinnertime? I guess electrical bandwith and water bandwith(?) are also shared. <g>
