GOOD morning , Fuzzman.
here is some stuff - culled from the company's investor package and from the Yorkton ( Ugggggggg) Research Report(dated May, 1998).
To all on this thread - DO acquire and read that report - it is a very professional job. The jerks are the sellers.
Also, go visit <Bidding on Bay Street> web-site, an early (August 1997) follower/newsletter. They are at <www.bidbayst@nbnet.nb.ca>
* AOL is an investor(unknown %), with the option to increase its stake to 51% over time, at ever increasing prices.
*Outside members of the Board of Directors include senior reps from each of AOL. Microsoft, and Torstar(Canadian Newspaper Company).
* Initial investment was 1 million shares taken up by each of AOL and Torstar. I do not know if either has added or sold off from this investment level.
* Yorkton Research Report -
estimates revenue of $29 mill in 1998 and $107mill in 1999.
insiders hold 17% of the company.
total shares outstanding 21.8mill - 26mill fully diluted.
public share float is 18mill.
that is estimated 1999 revenues per share of $4 plus, fully diluted
stock price target is $5.
