IMHO 32 years ago nobody ever heard of Microsoft or imagined the growth such a company could achieve. This kind of exponential growth has only occurred in the last 10 years - more specifically the last 5 years.

But I respect your opinion and don't really want to get into a pissing contest. I'm just over joyed to be long in YHOO right now.

GO YAHOO!!!!!

Have to agree Roger. When the supposed experts are talking past each other with abstruse notions, worth the price of entry to the Tower of Babel, on the valuation paradigm special extensions and exemptions for Yahoo and other internet stocks, ya get the feeling the kite has broken loose from the string with the excitement of the moment destined to hold sway for about a short NY minute.

Roger --- I have often thought of shorting the internet stocks but went long in YHOO at 192. Have been trading in the 180 - 190 range. I would not buy it to hold at 70 when I first started watching the sector. Thought of shorting then through 130 and gave up as the trend has been straight up. The short point has not yet been reached unless a person has very deep pockets and can go for a long ride holding dead money with possible calls. Possibly the 230 - 300 being talkied about will be attained. I have bigger cajones than most but try to work the assets on more positive prospects. I missed most of this run up and intend on catching some of the fall but IMO the time has not yet come to short. The rules have not changed just have taken a modification for the time being. I do not see 300 without a correction but would not say 240 and holding is not possible especially with a split on the way and another in the wings.
