Someone was kind enough to do some math for MPTV. I am asking him wether I can post it. I recieved it in an email. He is holding 150,000 shares accumulating frequently. I want you to take a look at TWRI at yahoo and clik the Profile.. this is where i think MPTV is heading to! Their income/profit is approx 15% of gross revenues! Now, lets do some analysis on MPTV (i borrow some info from other postings),,, Vegas only: - 175 units - multiply that by an average of $10,000/unit because some portion of the units will be sold wholesale -- retail is $12000 approx. - times 52 week we have: 175x10000x52= $91 mil. gross revenues per Year clean profit(income )= 15% x 91mm = $13.65 mm assume they have 300mm shares outstanding,, thus the earning per shaer (eps) = 13.65/300 = 4.5 cents ----- Compare that to TWRI and other timesharing co. (mentioned at the first 10 posts of mptv thread at si)... their average p/e=price to earning ratio is 10, thus per share price should be: 10 x 4.5 cents = 45 cents just for Vegas! ---- MPTV has other properties: Calif. hawaii... and who knows whats next! ---- Now, somebody mentioned that when they were selling they had an average about 1000 visitors per week, with 10-20% of them ended up buying the timeshare.. so on average they could sell that 175 unit/week. to sell all 52 week.. it wil just take them about 1 year. BUT, remember they are also selling these units wholesale as someone mentioned recently,,, and thru other channels. --> my gut is telling me that by dec.98 they should sell 75% of all the vegas units! But investors will grab mptv like hot cakes BEFORE this year ends.. so we should see AT LEAST 50 cents by nov/dec.. my opinion and analysis... remember investing is 50-75% psychology and perception,,, when people perceive vegas, calif, hawaii.. thats the whole picture! Vegas is the key! Once vegas is brewing investors will jump in. The reason is with Vegas people can 'picture that in their minds. People have mentioned about reverse split. as you might know, 95% of the time reverse split is not good! BUT, this is a situation where a reverse split could actually have a positive impact rather than negative The reason is: EARNINGS ... as long as vegas is earnign money, investors dont care if we have 300 mil or 30 mil shares outstanding say 300mm shares at 40 cent price reverse split 30mm we will have $4.0 share price. BUT this $4.- is supported by earnings! end of story case closed ;-)
