rrman, March 17 is St. Patricks Day. I figure a Q2 slowdown or contraction in earnings will be ignored. When Q3 is poor the street will forecast recovery in Q4 then push out the date as Q1 99 comes to a close the previously mentioned issues should start to have an impact. There is no quick turnaround for Asia but it will take a while for the mkts to realize this. Forecasts are difficult in this mkt because the mkt is held up by CONfidence and does not look at fundamentals. The public believes Wall St is there to guide ma & pa through the mine fields but the public will find out they are in the mine field and on their own. Mike
