I know anyone who bought after the "crash", like me, should be happier than a pig in $hit -- I get the dividend shares on the shares I bought cheap as well as the ones I paid through the teeth for...
Waiting on a bit over 5K more shares to hit my accounts...
Eric
Always wise to do your homework -- I have been getting splits and dividends for years on a couple of large caps I have owned and you ALWAYS get the money or the shares if you own on the x-date -- whether it is the SOR date or not. The only problem I had with the whole thing is that the dates were so obviously going to be different -- that is totally abnormal -- but maybe not down here in penny land. Take a look at EUTO -- they did something even more confusing -- but not really...
They announced the SOR date, which also turned out to be the X-date, but the paydate was months later...just got some of those shares recently...
Anyhow...

Hello Gary and everyone (stock split),
I noticed the substantial drop in the price of MIDLP today and with such little volume (1800 shares at the time) was wondering how it happened. Then it dawned on me " The split occured" so I called one of my brokers electronic telephone service and found out I had received, according to their records, the 3:2 split on all shares I held in my account. Most of those shares were purchased on or before May 29, but some were purchased as late as June 11, and I received the split on all shares in my account. (Have not bought any since 6-11). Anyway, that is with my Citicorp account, my other account has no record of them yet. This probably just adds more fuel to the fire, but I'm long and strong and have been since september.
