(ASE:IDX), a leading provider worldwide of live-scan and biometric verification systems, Thursday reported that the California Department of Corrections (CDC) is installing TouchLock II(TM) single-finger biometric verification readers and Bio Sentinel(TM) networking software for physical access control applications in all 33 state prisons over the next 12 months. TouchLock II readers and Bio Sentinel software will enable authorized state prison staff members to enter and leave secure areas while providing an exact record of each entry and exit.
