Everyone notice that Yahoo was in the exact same situation that THQ is in....all you heard on CNBC was that Yahoo earned 15 cents beating estimates of 9 cents..yet notice that Yahoo actually had a loss for the quarter due to a one time acquisition charge....

<<Yahoo!'s profit was $8.1 million, or 15 cents a diluted share, before a $44.1 million acquisition charge resulted in a final loss. That compares with a loss before a charge of $277,000, or 1 cent, in the year-earlier period. Analysts were expecting a profit of 9 cents.>>

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO REASON THQ SHOULD BE PENALIZED IF THEY COME IN AT A LOSS FOR THE QUARTER DUE TO THE GAMEFX ACQUISITION AS LONG AS THEY BEAT THE ESTIMATES BEFORE THE CHARGE!
