MIchael, The draught that caused the fires in Florida was caused by el Nino. Can you say with certainty that the el Nino waters were not warmed more by global warming? Shouldn't we study the issue, and collect data, rather than relying on opinions that may be wrong?

Can you prove that the fires in Florida were NOT caused by global warming, Michael? President Clinton notes in this article that the five warmest years on record since the 1400's all happened during the 1990's. We can all tell that the climate is changing. I am afraid that by the time there is absolutely conclusive proof that human activity has caused these disasters, it will be too late to correct it. Is there something inherently wrong with conserving natural resources, and doing everything we can to avoid pollution?
