EU Seeks Anti-Dumping Charges Against ROK Chips

07/09,15:56

European Electronics Components Manufacturers Association (EECMA) has filed dumping charges against Korean D-RAM semiconductors, largest export item of the nation into the region, with the European Commission.

The Brussels branch of Korea International Trade Association (KITA) noted the EECMA's suit has been motivated to prevent the Korean enterprises from continuing to export related goods at cheap prices.

European Union had been imposing anti-dumping duties against Korean semiconductors from March 1993 and discontinued them from November last year when Korea and EU agreed on the mutual uses of the Data Collection and Maintenance System (DCMS).

Luis, I guess in the end, we'll find out by watching. But on the way down, there were many days where the intra-day charts showed concentrated selling attacks often at days end, easily identified, flurries of selling over just a few minutes. That is manipulation, so the stock had help in falling by some big players or the market makers. But, the reason they drive it down beyond reason, is so they can later drive it back up after they've loaded up their trucks. They take it up fast, like a week or so ago when the stock jumped 34% in 1 day.
