eric--

agreed. i am sitting here waiting for earnings now. i used to hope to see contracts, but now earnings are the only thing that will really make me like the company more. the sad thing is, i already hold the stock...i can only imagine what potential WSTL investors have to be thinking, and what would make them buy it.

on the ALA thing...one of the things that has destroyed WSTL is the perception in the market that WSTL will not able to compete with ALA and the other big names. the problem is, it was way to early to tell that a year ago, and it is STILL too early. i think the JPC really destroyed confidence in WSTL and overbuilt it in ALA. i am pretty sure their strategy was win at any cost. IMHO, and i think you agree, this strategy is going to cause them massive headaches going forward.

as a side note, a lot of people like to compare the pricing of WSTL with ALA. ALA is a much larger, more diversified company so it is difficult to compare the two. i think ALA is way overvalued right now based on a variety of things. the one that sticks most in my mind is mietec. euro semi companies are not well known for excellent ops in good years, i can only imagine what they are feeling now.

good luck to all,
trey
