I'm surprised that gold has held up this well. I'd like to settle this ECB thing for good and like you said, get back to ground zero.
Seems like gold bulls are grasping for straws. Looking for "something" to make gold go up, the ECB, Y2K, global unrest, nuclear threats, etc. Traditionally, these things almost never effect the price of gold, and if they do it's very temporary.
Asia and the dollar are still the major factors controlling the POG at this time. A weaker dollar and a stronger Asia is what the doctor is ordering.
