I get the point, but at the same time, why would anyone modify a 10/22 to look like that? Presumably to intimidate someone. People concerned with self-defense choose a weapon based on function. If you're going to hold up a liquor store, though, you want to show the weapon, not use it. You want to intimidate. Granted, the emotional factors shouldn't really matter, but a lot of the anti-gun propaganda is based on emotional appeals. The response to that propaganda has to take the emotional factor into account. Steve
