>> You need to think outside the box. Yahoo is very similar to Dell at that point in that it is still in its infancy.

YHOO the company is in it's infancy but the stock price isn't! That's my point.

>> I'll put it like this. Yahoo isn't overvalued until it's market cap exceeds that of AOL <<

AOL is overvalued too.

>> Yahoo is the future, and evidenced by the way that they continue to outperform, people continue to think in too small terms. <<

Great company no doubt. But price matters...eventually.

>> When you booted your PC into pitiful DOS in 1985, could you imagine that the company that made it would be worth $250 BILLION??? in 1998? <<

I didn't have a computer in 1985. I was 13.

Jimmy Buffett, I still like DOS better than Windows 9x, it is faster, better, but not as simple to use. I miss those days of .ARJ,beroe the Winzip era. All my computer games ran faster,it loaded in a heartbeat, and I had all the necessary programs. I am thinking about buying Linux from RedHat software and starting over. WIn 98 sucks, and everything MSFT produces is too big,too cumbersome, and messes up all my other programs. The new Media Player just crashed my computer cross referencing with ReadVideo's software.
I am also seriously thinking about trying to turn this damn thing off,and getting outside to see the sun. I am willing to become a "Dharma Bum",and go "On the Road".
Technology really does suck,it wires us to a cement block, and throws us off the East River Bridge.
