Isn't Jerry also promising the copper technology by next year?

Another de jevu, the K6 0.35um with LI/5ML/C4 B was, for the most part, untried for mass-production. That was a fiasco. You may think some one has learnt a lesson or two from past mistakes by now. Unbelievable.

Joey, >>>"I can't believe BOD hasn't given him the boot yet. He's an
embarrasement to shareholders."

Maybe Jerry IS the board of directors?

Say what you will about Colonel Sanders. Who can you honestly name that could have played the AMD hand better over the last decade than Sanders has? This guy's a street figher -- all those wars w/ Intel over the x86 rights, k6, ...

Who knows, w/o the good colonel, AMD could've been toast LONG ago. AMD is competing with one of the biggest gorillas on the block in INTC. At best, AMD is gonna have a few bright spots here and there . Does anyone really think they're gonna supplant INTC? Don't think so.

An "embarrasment to shareholders"? Hardily! You oughta be thanking the good colonel for keeping AMD alive for this long.

JMHO,

John Dodson
(Both an AMD and INTC shareholder)
