I think there is an air of cautiousness right before earnings. Usually the short-term traders (in Frankfurt as well as here) take their chips from the table and wait; some, of course, would set up an earnings play.

Yes, your are right overall. But when you have to translate DM into Dollar on a minute by minute basis when calculating the dollar price of SAP, some less astute traders might be thrown for a loss.
