The retailers, in general, are thriving - thanks to the cheaper goods imported from the wounded Asian countries. I think they will be last to fall. A lot of fluffy techs are still good shorts than the retailers. LLTC, for instance. ETEC is a good short on any rebound above 35. IMHO. I think shorting PFE soon after the earnings (there will be a big spike, before or after the earnings) is a good bet too. Perhaps LEAP OTM puts on WLA and PFE is a better choice.

Joe, You might be on to something regarding S.

There is a retail store a couple miles away from me that is absolutely a disgrace. Front display windows broken and boarded up with plywood, paint pealing, etc. It has been that way for months and I actually thought the place had closed down. I was calling around to find out where I could make good on some Craftsman needle nose pliers I busted (the lifetime guarantee you know -g- ) and to my surprise, found out the store was still in business!

The last time something like this happened in the area was to an outfit called Crown Books. Funny given the recent bickering visited on us. -vbg- Well suppose I should call the building inspector and see if s/he will admit to taking bribes on this store, this is Chicago after all. -vbg-
