Tom: I have far less than 1% of my net worth in GE, do not day trade this or any other stocks, and hope like you said that the SEC does not cast a permanent cloud over GE's claim. I don't get married to stocks as a rule however when I have in the past have gotten quickie divorces Vegas style. Management , has a short window of opportunity right now; whereby they can capitalize on the free publicity in USA TOday, which has vaulted them to national and world attention. The SEC would now be a little more hesitant of issuing a permanent ban along with fraud charges because of the exposure IMO. But once this blows over they had better have all their ducks in a row.
