A mini get together - not seminar You have probably read my exploits in Reno this weekend and being the true gambler I am (yea right) not to mention the over 300 tickets I have in the swirly box to win the new Corvette, I've decided to go back. Oh, you get the tickets by getting blackjacks at the tables. No, I didn't get that many blackjacts but my Dad and some nice gentlemen gave me their tickets. Very sweet but I'm not sharing the car :-) I'll have an extra seat if anyone needs a ride home. Anywhere in the country is fine. Did I mention it was a convertible? Anyway, my Dad and I will be there for sure. Our trip is booked and all are welcome. If enough join I can talk the hotel into reduced rates and possibly a dinner. We can paint the hotel P&F style. There is also a blackjack tournament, free, August 29-30. Grand prize is 25,000 (which I plan to win too so I can pay for the taxes on the car not to mention doc and loading fees, dmv, dealer costs, Clintons laundry bills etc). You all can play for the 100 other playoff prizes etc. :-) Here is the scoop: Friday, August 28th through Monday August 31st. The Nugget in Sparks Nevada (basically Reno) Drawing for my Corvette is on Sunday August 30th and I must be present to win. Also, you guys could win (if you get tickets and are there on the 30th): - two tickets anywhere Reno Air flies 2 tickets - two tickets to Super Bowl XXXIII in Miani - An Alaskan fishing trip for 2 - Other cool stuff - Free blackjack tournament with 25,000 grand prize. Tahoe is just around the corner if anyone wants to go hiking, boating etc. The Nugget is a great hotel with the nicest indoor pool I've seen and outdoor sunning. Salon and workout room. Good food, the chocolate mouse is to die for. Dancing country and dance style. Nice people. Golfing too. I need to get an idea right away who is interested. You don't have to stay all the days but do let me know. You will have to make your own reservations but I will let the hotel know you will be calling.
