Hi, Caroline. Thanks for the vote of confidence. Guess I should have put "" marks around "non-event". I WAS serious tho' about Congress not being able to agree on this limited liability issue, since they ARE primarily lawyers first and representatives about 23rd place.

I read a rather enlightening insight into another poster's psyche just ystdy...he decided that Y2K must be for real b/c at every Y2K seminar he attended, he observed over 1/2 the audience was lawyers.

Basically, I guess his premise was, one doesn't find 3pc suits and legal pads at old fashioned, end o'the world, tent revivals in the 90s, but they show up in droves at Y2K seminars.

His point was...this en masse appearance convinced HIM this was real.

I really don't think Congress is going to do anything. This administration is so fearful of the upcoming hoarding/panic that he's postponing official speak rather than give us a peek at what he's got planned for us before he leaves office. I AM concerned that it will have the tone/flavor/appearance of military "supervision."

Glad you got John's book! It and He are terrific. I also think his website is reasonably priced, annually. Might want to look into that also.

Good preparation a/w/a investing!
