Charlie, It seems to me earnings will much better than expected, like $0.55 - $0.65 before the Summit payoff. And with PPP out of the picture, S2 upgrade/lasers hitting the market, Q3/Q4 look even better. No more FTC worries, and hyperopia approval coming, future earnings outlook looks even better. $2.00 trailing EPS as of end of July before one-time charges, and $3.00/$4.00 for 1999 put VISX at a fair value of $70 now and $100/$140 in 1999, assuming a P/E of 35. It's a little like YHOO: as more people do it, they realize how great it is, and they call their broker.
